New playable characters have been further speculated in "WWE 2K15" for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. According to a report from What Culture on July 8, the wrestling video game could feature around a dozen new wrestlers that haven't appear in the previous games. The list is diverse as it includes divas, legends and wrestlers.

Perhaps the most surprising name is Lanny Poffo, who is best known for being the younger brother of Randy "Macho Man" Savage. His family previously had a long feud with the WWE although it appears that it has been patched up. A new DVD based on Randy "Macho Man" Savage is apparently in production as well. Another potential candidate is Sting, who has been rumored for months to be signing with the WWE although nothing has been officially announced.

On the active roster side, What Culture believes that Adrian Neville should be a part of "WWE 2K15" although the current NXT Champion is not part of the main roster. The rest of the male participants are made up of newcomers with Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, Eric Rowan, Luke Harper, Rusev (with his manager, Lana) and Stardust. On the divas side, fans should also expect to see Eva Marie, Emma and Paige.

Only a few personalities have been official confirmed for the upcoming video game so far. Leading the way is John Cena, the cover boy and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Joining him will be Bray Wyatt, Cesaro (with Paul Heyman), Hulk Hogan and Roman Reigns.

2K Sports will usually wait until near the end of next month to announce the complete roster for the latest installments of the series. The newest game is currently scheduled for a release on Oct. 28 in the North American territory on the aforementioned Playstation and Xbox platforms.
