One of the new farmers markets this year is the Wasatch Front Farmers Market held at Wheeler Farm on Sundays. After a month in operation, patrons appear to love this market for its time, location and laid back vibe.
As the market is getting more popular (and more produce is coming into season) more vendors are joining each week. Find some of your favorites including NuNooz Artisan Pasta, Butchers Bunches, Murray Market Gardens, Slide Ridge Honey, Canyon Meadows Ranch and so many more.
There’s breakfast on the farm from 8-11 am including pancakes, eggs and sausage for $5 for adults and $2.50 for children.
Cooking contests featuring items purchased at the market (Taste of the Farm) or the best pie competition add fun and cash prizes to the mix of events each week. Look for more in the coming months.
There really is something for everyone at Wasatch Front Farmers Market. From crafts and prepared foods to growers and producers and even the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue group, get the feel of a small Downtown Farmers Market in the middle of the valley on a farm.
