New characters are not uncommon on this AMC series. Several new faces have popped up on the zombie drama just this season, and there is one more coming before the season ends. TV Guide revealed the following about the next character to arrive on the series:
"As if The Governor isn't killing enough of our main characters, you want another sick and twisted dictator on the scene? But no, it's someone else. "We're going to keep that stuff in our back pocket, but everyone on our show is pretty excited about that character and looking forward to getting him on our show." So who is it then? I'd put my money on seeing Morgan (Lennie James) again."
Norman Reedus also spoke about working on the AMC series, and his comments dealt with Michael Rooker, the actor behind his character's brother on the series. He said the following, according to Hypable:
"We love each other; we’re the best of friends. He’s awesome and such a powerful actor. He’s also amazing to watch. We’re similar in a lot of redneck ways already, and we’ve become more similar on the show."
Merle will cause some tension with the survivors on this week's episode. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I can't get enough of the the Time Warner commercial with Daryl! #thewalkingdead
