Earlier today, manga and anime publisher Viz Media announced four new titles that fans can look forward to from its Viz Signature and Shonen Jump imprints during the fall and winter.

In November of 2014, manga fans can look forward to the release of “One Piece box set 2: Skypeia and Water 7” from Shonen Jump. The box set includes volumes 24-46 of the “One Piece” manga series, which contain the third and fourth story arcs, along with the “Strong World” mini-comic and a full-color double-sided poster. The box set has an MSRP of $185.99.

Also available in November of 2014 will be the first volume of the five volume “Resident Evil” manga series from Viz Signature, featuring story and art from Naoki Serizawa. The series is a prequel to Capcom’s “Resident Evil 6” video game and follows the progression of the C-virus, as a female student at a prestigious school in Singapore suffers a terrible transformation and Professor Doug Wright and his nephew Ricky are called in to investigate. Chris Redfield and the BSAA also make an appearance, as things grow rapidly out of hand.

In December of 2014, Shonen Jump will release the first volume of “Assassination Classroom”, in both digital and print editions. The action-packed and comedic series follows a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher, an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength. He is the best teacher the kids have ever had, but after having just destroyed the moon, he is now threatening to destroy the Earth, unless his students can stop him.

Following in January 2015, will be the debut volume of “Jaco the Galactic Patrolman” from Shonen Jump in print and digital versions. A new series from legendary “Dragon Ball” creator Akira Toriyama, the series follows Jaco, a galactic patrolman who crash lands on a deserted island, home to retired scientist Omori, who is continuing his research on time-travel. After the crash, Jaco decides to move in with Omori, but can the two get along with one another long enough to save the Earth from a dangerous threat. The first volume also features new, bonus “Dragon Ball Z” content related to Goku’s parents.
