New Vision Hair Studio meetup recap (Photos)

This past Sunday afternoon, several Chicago beauties were treated to a hair demonstration and meetup with Trina Scott in her downtown salon, New Vision Hair Studio.

The intimate setting allowed for an open question and answer forum between Trina and her guests. The seasoned stylist dished advice on topics ranging from how to wear a wash and go, co-washing, how to preserve a twist out, and joked about how to rock a satin bonnet with your better half. Natural, relaxed, and transitioning ladies noshed on cupcakes and sweet treats by Bittersweet Toffee Company as they absorbed a wealth of knowledge.

Trina demonstrated how to create fullness in a twist out, how to finger coil, and featured the use of extensions for an Avant-garde updo. Design Essentials was the featured product line used to style all the models. Trina stressed that moisture and regular trimming is the key to healthy hair.

There were plenty of raffle prize giveaways, and each attendee received a gift bag with Design Essentials samples and a few other of Trina’s favorite things. Trina has experience working with various textures of hair from natural to relaxed. To schedule a consultation, contact the salon at 312-578-9710.
