"The Vampire Diaries" is currently airing on Channel 6 in Tempe. On Monday, Jan. 21, Spoilers Guide shared more details about the upcoming spin-off from the series. Klaus will be headed to New Orleans in the new spin-off. Previous spoilers revealed that he will be the center of the new series. However, he will not be alone in New Orleans. Spoilers Guide shared the following:
"Klaus will meet the beautiful and intelligent Camille, a psychology student at Tulane in New Orleans. Like Elena before her, Cami is a human, unaware of the “supernatural storm” brewing around her — but she’s certainly intrigued by the darker side of the French Quarter. She’ll be particularly drawn to Klaus, because as a smart and curious student, she’s intrigued by one question in particular: What makes someone evil?"
If the series is picked up by the CW, Camille will become a regular cast member of the series. Phoebe Tonkin will also bring her "TVD" character to the new series. No word yet on who else will be involved, but it is possible fans will see Klaus' siblings pop up from time to time. Julie Plec revealed in a recent interview that Rebekah, played by Claire Holt, has a place on both the new series and "Vampire Diaries" on CW.
Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I'm not Stefan's biggest fan, but I hate seeing him hurt #thevampirediaries
"The Vampire Diaries" will continue to air on Channel 6 in Tempe on Thursday nights.
