New Valentines content for 'Ace of Spades' (Photos)

Creative shooter 'Ace of Spades' from Jagex is giving gamers something not revolving around hearts and candy to look forward to today. Inspired by perhaps the second most memorable event for February 14th., the St. Valentine's day Massacre, there's all new DLC available for the most innovative online multi-player shooter on the market.

If things have become all too sugary this Valentine’s Day then Ace of Spades has the perfect antidote – a brand new DLC pack featuring all the weapons you’ll need to plug your mark before they take a pop at you. Themed around the infamous St Valentine’s Day Massacre, this DLC pack features maps based upon the iconic locations of San Francisco’s legendary prison, Alacatraz and the mob-run streets of Prohibition era Chicago, as well as a new gangster character class equipped with a Tommy Gun, Snub Nosed Pistol, Crowbar and Molotov Cocktail.

Also included in this DLC are two new game modes designed to recreate a 1920s gangster atmosphere. The first, Territories, sees players fighting to control different parts of the map, with the goal of taking control of the City. The second mode, VIP, introduces two new boss characters who need to be protected by their respective gangs whilst attempting to take out the enemy mark. When a team’s VIP is killed they enter Sudden Death - respawns are disabled and all remaining players slowly lose health to keep the pressure up!

The full details of Valentine’s Day DLC are:
• 6 new character skins
• 1 new character class
• 4 new weapons - Tommy Gun, Snub Nosed Pistol, Crowbar and Molotov Cocktail
• 2 new maps (Chicago and Alcatraz)
• 2 game modes(VIP and Territories)

The Valentine’s Day Massacre content launches today on Steam for $4.99/£3.49/€3.99 and for the first week of launch will be 20% off.
