A new website has started recently that is offering hotel deals on Orlando hotels. The site is called TripAlertz.com and offers hotel deals in locations around the US and the Caribbean. The site is somewhat like Groupon in that the deals are only availible for a limited time. For Orlando offers, it currently has the downtown DoubleTree hotel on sale for $89 a night. It also has a villa in an unnamed hotel near the theme parks for $639 a night.
The interesting part about the site is that it will give you $10 for every person that you invite that signs up for the site. The person doesn't have to buy anything- just register. So if you can get a large number of people to register for the site, you can get a free or heavily-discounted hotel stay.
Other then the $10 for invites, the site isn't all that different from the other deal sites out there. It'll be interesting to see if this one can rise above the crowd and give Orlando visitors some good deals.
