Big Talk Productions released a new trailer today for 'Cuban Fury', a romantic comedy about salsa dancing set to release on Valentines Day (February 14, 2014).

The film stars Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) as Bruce Garrett, a former salsa dancing prodigy who prematurely gave up his dream to be a star dancer, and 22 years later finds himself as an overweight and unhappy engineer.

Bruce's dancing dreams are revived when he falls in love with his new American boss, Julia (played by Rashida Jones) who also has a love for salsa. The movie centers around Bruce's struggle to win over Julia through dance by re-uniting with his old dance instructor (Ian McShane) while competing against his sleazy co-worker, played by Chris O'Dowd.

The movie is directed by James Griffiths (Episodes) with a script by Jon Brown (Fresh Meat, Misfits). With top British comedy stars as Frost and O'Dowd, the movie is sure to deliver some laughs as well as offer a touch of romance for those going to see it on Valentine's Day.

One can but hope that they consulted some actual salsa dancers to do the salsa choreography, and that they don't completely butcher the dance like other movies have done (Along Came Polly comes to mind).

The new trailer can be viewed on IGN.com.
