New trailer for 'The Iceman' depicts thrills and suspense

A new trailer has finally been released for "The Iceman," which stars Michael Shannon as the notorious contract killer and family man, Richard Kuklinski.

The film first premiered at the 2012 Venice Film Festival and as only recently received an international release date.

The trailer depicts Kuklinski the family man and Kuklinski the killer along with the complications of having a family while living a secret and dangerous life on the side. It looks thrilling, dramatic, and suspenseful.

The film is inspired by actual events and follows the story of Richard Kuklinski, who, between the years of 1964-1986 is said to have killed around one hundred people, but was only formally charged for five. Kuklinski died in prison in 2006. Prior to that were a couple of published books about his life and an HBO special documenting his career.

"The Iceman" has some fantastic casting choices. Starring alongside Shannon is Winona Ryder, who plays Kuklinski's wife, Ray Liotta, Chris Evans, and James Franco.

"The Iceman" is rated R and is set to be released on May 3, 2013. Click below to watch the trailer.
