The movie is based on the popular book by John Green that chronicles the meeting and tender romance that blooms between Hazel Grace and Augustus, two teens who share an engaging sense of humor, an appreciation for the unconventional and a love story that will pull you in and make you believe in miracles. Their story is even more compelling because they first meet at a support group for victims of cancer.

The number 1 best seller takes an irreverent look at life and the relationships we choose to build, even when the risks are great.

Hazel is played by Shailene Woodley and Augustus is played by Ansel Elgort. Josh Boone (Stuck in Love) directs and Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber (500 Days of Summer) adapted the script. The movie opens June 6. Check out the trailer that accompanies this article to get a glimpse of Hazel and Augustus and “The Fault in Our Stars.”
