Are you tired of waiting for a new Tool album? I know I am! Good news Keenan fans, there's word coming down the musical grapevine that a follow up to the 2006 release '10,000 days' is finished recording.
According to a report by Crave Online, during a pre-show VIP meet and greet in Portland Oregon, the bands guitarist Adam Jones admitted to an unnamed source that a new album is indeed "100%" done.
No other confirmation has been announced, but fans are certainly headbanging in the streets over the news.
Last Spring, Danny Carey, Tool's awe dropping drummer provided an interview where he teased news about the band entering the studio to start working on a new Tool album “sometime in June or July.”
Until the release of this long awaited (and hopefully not just a mirage) release, check out the band on tour. The closest Tool is playing in the Monterey, California area is in San Francisco, CA at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on March 11. More Tool Tour Dates can be found below.
