New Tokyo Game Show screens revealed for Uncharted: Golden Abyss

Sony Computer Entertainment America has revealed several new screens for their upcoming PS Vita exclusive title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, at this year’s Tokyo Game Show event. The latest images showcase several action sequences in the action-adventure game. You can see the main protagonist, Nathan Drake, scaling a building and walking over a plank. Also shown are several melee fights in addition to the cover-based third-person shooting gameplay. The new female character, Marisa Chase, can be spotted in one of the shots. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is currently being developed by SCE Bend Studio, who had previously worked on Resistance: Retribution and the Syphon Filter PSP series. Sony Computer Entertainment will publish the upcoming action-adventure title when it launches alongside the PS Vita in Japan on December 17th. North America release dates for both the game and system have not been announced.
