TLC just posted a new video that shows how the super-sized Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting celebrates Thanksgiving. With 19 children, two parents and assorted friends and family members, Thanksgiving at the Duggar household is a grand family affair. To stay one step ahead of all the work, Jana Duggar makes 15 pies before the holiday. “On Thanksgiving, an average family gets one of two pies, but my family, we get 15,” explains Jedidiah.
The little ones help Jana the kitchen, while Mom Michelle takes care of the cleaning. “I have as many guys that like to be in the kitchen as girls,” Michelle Duggar explains. That may because the boys outnumber the girls in the Duggar household.

The next new episode of 19 Kids and Counting airs on a different day than usual, and it’s expanded to 60 minutes. It’s called “Duggars Make a Movie.” After years of being the family in front of the cameras, it’s the Duggars’ turn to make their own episode. Watch as the crew hands over their equipment to the kids to produce, film and star-in a truly Duggarized special! It airs on Sunday, November 21st at 8/7c on TLC. It will be followed by Sarah Palin’s Alaska.
Tuesday’s normally scheduled episode of 19 Kids and Counting is called “Duggars and Sluggers.” Jim Bob and the kids take in the sights of Louisville, which includes a stop at the famous Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. Back home, Michelle takes care of Josie and prepares to leave her with a babysitter so she can reunite with the family. It airs on Tuesday, November 23rd at 9/8c on TLC.
