Telltale Games released the first batch of screenshots for “The Walking Dead Season Two: Episode 3 – In Harm’s Way” on Thursday. The second season of the episodic series for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and iOS devices is about to reach its midpoint and Clementine and the rest of her group find themselves in a bad situation, again.

An official release date for “Episode 3 - In Harm’s Way” has not been made official yet while Telltale Games waits to hear from its release partners at Sony, Microsoft, Steam and Apple. However, it sounds like it may be either the week of May 5 or May 12 based on comments contained in the press release received.

The four new screenshots build on the preview from the end of episode two with the banner featuring an axe-wielding Clementine and a frightened Sarah surrounded by zombies. The second image shows Clem putting the axe to good use but still surrounded.

The third image features the tyrannical William Carver, played by Michael Madsen, getting his hands dirty on some poor sap. Finally, the fourth image shows Clem’s group being marched through a building by their captors who appear to follow Carver more out of fear than anything else.

“The Walking Dead” from Telltale Games has become known for its story over gameplay style and season two has been no different. Clementine has been placed in some dangerous and painful to watch situations. The studio appears to be ready to twist the vice even tighter as episode five finale approaches.

A Season Pass for “The Walking Dead Season Two” can be purchased from the Xbox Store for $14.99 with the first episode available as a free download. The PSN Store has the Season Pass for $19.99 while individual episodes for both consoles are $4.99. PC players can find it on Steam for $24.99 though you may find it for less via Amazon at times.
