Local independent game publisher ThunderSnow Media, Inc. from Duxbury, Mass. released several new screenshots on Jan. 23, 2013 from their upcoming free-to-play time-travel adventure game "The Time Tribe," which will be releasing this Feb. 2013. "The Time Tribe" can be played in Flash Browsers on any PC and will also be hitting tablets in the not so distant future.
"The Time Tribe" follows:
The epic story of four kids who learn they are members of a secretive group called The Time Tribe, which centers around a wily bird, a devious enemy, a mysterious manor, a magical timekey, and a most peculiar elevator. The game is an episodic, point-and-click adventure game that leads players through a virtual world filled with eComics, mini fiction, print mailings, and collectible toys keeping players entertained and begging for more.
According to an email we received from Reverb Communications, ThunderSnow Founder and Creator of The Time Tribe, Karen Bellinger Wehner says:
“We have been working on this project for several years now and we’re so excited to bring it to the public. Our game brings an amazing blend of online adventure, offline play, and genuine engagement with history and the current state of humankind, while staying true to the gameplay practices we know kids love already, such as exploration, customization, and collection.”
"The Time Tribe" mixes "real history and archaeology" with "everyday life." This allows players of the game to picture themselves in "the great stage of human history." Players will be able to "expand their gameplay further in real life with eComics, print mailings and more."
"The Time Tribe" is rated “E” for Everyone by the ESRB and developed by ThunderSnow Media, Inc. along with partners Silverstring Media and Dubit development studio.
