Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see The Lorax on the big screen. On Monday, Collider shared the photos released from the film, including photos from the behind the scenes making of the animated feature. Check out all of the photos here.
The Lorax is based on one of Dr. Seuss' tales, and this film focuses on the environment as Lorax tries to save it. The animated film features an all-star cast that includes Zac Efron, Danny Devito, Ed Helms, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, and Betty White. Chris Meladandri, the producer of the film, said the following about the film and its themes in a recent interview, according to Collider:
At the core of the book is a story that has very serious themes, starting with how greed can seduce you into a place where you lose your sensitivity to the world around you and, in the case of this story, actually become destructive. Also, at the center of it is a story of redemption. The character of the Once-ler (voiced by Ed Helms) is ultimately a character who wants to undo that which he’s done.
This film was adapted to a full length feature film based on a short book. With Danny Devito voicing The Lorax, it should be a film to see. Fans are buzzing about the release of this film on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
Dr. Seuss' #TheLorax looks awesome!
The Lorax will arrive in Scottsdale theaters on March 2.
