Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the release of The Great Gatsby to theaters. On Monday, Caught on Set shared the latest photos from the set of the film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Carey Mulligan. Check out the new photos here. Carey Mulligan plays Daisy Buchanan in this film, and she took the time out in a recent interview to talk about working with Leonardo DiCaprio and the audition process she had for the film. She said the following, according to The Press Association on Monday:
"We were doing the scene with the cameras over my shoulder, and he was lighting a cigarette for me and looking at me. It was all me, and he didn't have any words, and he was improvising stuff to say, just to help me.I was like, 'Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't need to be helping me in this audition'. He was auditioning girls all day. I was so blown away by how generous he was, let alone being amazing to act with."
Fans are waiting to see this film hit the big screen. This latest film from Baz Luhrmann is being shot in 3-D. One fan said the following about the film on Twitter recently:
#thegreatgatsby is consuming my life. At least @leodicaprio is starring in it next year, its the main reason why I can power through! :)
The Great Gatsby is set for release to Scottsdale theaters on Christmas Day 2012.
