"Tekken Tag Tournament 2" combo specialist SuperOgreKiller has produced another video full of combo goodness for us today. Watch the video at this link.
This video features combos for Jin, Jun, Unknown, Armor King, Lars, Kazuya, Heihachi, Forest Law, Hwoarang, and, most prominently, Baek Doo San. As a whole, many of the combos are simply not suited to be performed during match play, but when broken down, SOK shows a few things that just might boost your game. If you perform a Tag Assault near the wall with Armor King as your partner, his Flying Elbow (upward Right Punch) will usually create a situation for a “sandwich” combo.
A sandwich combo is when your partner ends up in front of your opponent during a Tag Assault, essentially negating aerial momentum and allowing for combos that would usually be impossible to connect.
Unknown’s two-hit spike combo enders also allows players to use strings of attacks that are not possible with typical Tag Assault combos. They have great range and the right punch variation of the string leaves the opponent grounded. When either of her spike combo enders are used in Tag Assault combos, the player’s other character recovers before the second hit of the strings connects.
