Activision announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows earlier today, a video game based on Nickelodeon’s new TMNT animated series. The game will be available to download on Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC via Steam this summer.
Like most other TMNT video games, Out of the Shadows will be a third-person brawler. The game will support up to four player online co-op and takes place in New York City. The four characters are obviously Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. The game also uses a 3D graphical style which is a bit disappointing for fans of 2D side-scrollers.
TMNT: Out of the Shadows is being developed by Red Fly Studio who are perhaps best known for working on Ghostbusters: The Video Game (2009). Check out a reveal trailer of the game embedded below.
No price was announced but fans can expect the game to probably cost around 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
