Over the years the zombie genre has become the most popular of all the horror themes out there spawning tons of movies, comcis, TV series and so much more. One of the more entertaining ones to come out in the past few years was the 2009 Norwegian film Dead Snow from director Tommy Wirkola. The film took audiences by storm bringing the ultimate villain to the zombie world, the Nazi and it delivered everything you could want in the genre. There had been talk of a sequel, but not much had been heard until the recent release of the trailer. Now a teaser poster has risen for the latest entry into the zombie Nazi series Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead.
In the film a rotten Führer, sends the zombies from the original film to return to settle old German scores, but the sole survivor of the last battle is out to prove that there's more badass shit in Northern Norway than even Nazi zombies would be prepared for. The table is set for a massive revenge epic, where blood, guts, brains and throats are not the only things dredged up from the darkness. Old hatred never rots. Tommy Wirkola returns to direct the follow up feature along with Vegar Hoel returning as the sole survivor of the first film.
While you will have to wait to see the film you can check out the trailer and all-new teaser poster here now that is sure to keep the gore hounds satisfied until they can finally witness the rise of the Fuhrer and his undead army.
The undead Reich returns when Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead hits theaters on October 10th.
