Grammy-nominated salsa and Latin Jazz band, the New Swing Sextet, will be making a rare appearance in San Francisco next month. The New Swing Sextet are one of the most popular salsa bands from New York City, known for their Jazzy sound and loved by dancers around the world.
The group will be performing at 103 Harriet Street in San Francisco on June 14th. Doors open at 8pm for those who want to come early and get a good seat, and there will be a complimentary salsa lesson at 8:30pm so that you can learn how to get your groove on.
A slew of local DJs will get the party started at 9:30pm, before the band goes on and plays for two sets. The dancing will go late at this event, with dancing going on until 3am. The venue has a full bar as well, with alcohol specials going on all night.
The New Swing Sextet rarely makes it out to the West Coast, so this is one of the few times that Bay Area fans will be able to catch them live (the last time they visited was in 2013). Tickets are on sale now, but ticket prices will be going up soon, so get yours soon if you haven't already.
