'New Super Mario Bros. U' getting Super Luigi DLC this year says Nintendo

Those Nintendo Wii U owners out there that have exhausted every single corner of "New Super Mario Bros. U" are in luck today. During the Nintendo Direct presentation, Satoru Iwata unveiled some DLC for the game, which should get everyone jumping.

The DLC pack, titled "New Super Luigi U", will come in sometime this year, although no set date was announced. The DLC will change the main campaign around to make all the courses "new" for using just Luigi.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said that the DLC was "large scale" and almost the size of a new game, which is why it's taking some time to develop and get out to gamers.

Iwata was mum on the price of the DLC, then again if you're almost getting a new game, dropping ten or fifteen bucks might not be so bad.

"New Super Mario Bros. U" is currently available for the Wii U.
