Bored with your strength training routine? How about adding the latest craze to your routine, Kettlebells?
The buzz of Kettlebell training is everywhere right now, it’s fun and functional. Even celebs are getting into the industry and training with them. However there is a new Kettlebell studio right here in St. Louis, where you can learn how to use them properly and get the body you have always wanted in 2011.
Now open Studio RKC is the first and only Kettlebell specific training facility in Saint Louis.
According to their website: “All Studio RKC Instructors are Russian certified. This full scope of certifications held by experienced trainers allows Studio RKC to cover the full range of exercises designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced clients. We will get you where you want to be! No other studio can claim such a well rounded and versatile staff.”
What sets them apart? The Functional Movement Screen is included in all of our Kettlebell Training packages. "Put simply, the FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness."
This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns. "We monitor the FMS score on each client to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual."
