I'm writing with the exciting news that 2 learning centers now have classes scheduled for the Spring 2012 semester and their schedules have gone live!
One of them is Huckleberry Center for Creative Learning with tons of amazing, hands-on, project based a la carte classes. Their schedule can be found by clicking here. Every class has a class description and you can get to it by clicking on the link of the class on the schedule page. If you read through the descriptions, you will get a good taste of each class. It helps in picking from all the amazing offerings. Huckleberry will have an Open House on Monday night, Nov.28, at 5:30pm-7:00pm. You can come and meet the teachers and ask them questions about their classes to make sure they are a good fit for your child. All week next week, there will be displays at Huck too for parents to peruse.
The other learning center, Lighthouse Learning Center has been around for a long time as a tutoring center and started a homeschool program last semester. It is expanding its homeschool program in the Spring semester by adding some more classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting in January. They are still working on potentially adding more in the future, so keep checking their site for more details.
I feel so thankful to be living in Santa Clarita where we have so many options to assist us in educating our children. Classes such as these provide great opportunities for social interaction and positive classroom experiences.
