The 2014 Arnold Sports Festival added new sporting events to its roster. Each year the event grows offering something everyone can enjoy. In 2014 there are five new additions to the powerhouse sporting event. Sports fans can enjoy tennis, youth wrestling, pole fitness, swimming, and the inaugural Men's 212 Classic, a favorite division for bodybuilding fans.
1. Tennis at the Greater Columbus Convention Center
The Greater Columbus Convention Center will host tennis in rooms E150/E151 for the first time. This part of the festival is interactive, and offers kids a chance to participate in a Play Day. Kids can play without the pressure of competition, or be introduced to the sport. Adults can participate in cardio tennis "a new, fun, group activity featuring drills to give adult players of all abilities an ultimate, high-energy workout."
2. Swimming for Huntington's Disease
The Arnold Sports Festival has paired up with the Delaware Community Center for the first Arnold Swimming Championships. Proceeds from the event will go towards finding cure for Huntington's Disease.
Huntington's Disease (HD) is an inherited disorder resulting in slow and irreversible loss of both mental and physical capacity. There are 30,000 persons in the U.S. currently diagnosed with HD and each of their siblings and children has a 50% chance of developing it. HD is a "family disease", not just because it is inherited from a parent, but also because it profoundly affects the entire family unit emotionally, socially, and financially. HD, like Alzheimer and Parkinson's, takes a person away from their loved ones and the rest of the world long before they die.
3. Take a Schott at youth wrestling
Youth wrestling is open to kids born between the years of 2002 and 2007. It is also open to junior high wrestlers. Each class is divided by birth year. There is a small entry fee, and "awards will be given to the top 4 in each bracket."
- Wrestlers will compete the in the following age brackets:
- Bantam (born in 2007-2007)
- Intermediate (born in 2004-2005)
- Novice (born in 2002-2003)
- Junior High (must currently be enrolled in Junior High)
4. Pole Fitness X-POLE-Sion
Pole fitness is here to stay with it's ever growing popularity. The event has 12 athletes competing so far; each from the different locations in the U.S. The combination of strength and aerial acrobatics will be performed

5. Inaugural Men's 212 Classic
The Men's 212 Classic will be held at that Arnold Sports Festival in lieu of the Ms. International. Some major bodybuilding events began excluding women's bodybuilding years ago, but this is the first time the Arnold Sports Festival will not have it. However, the Men's 212 division is a top favorite in the sport, and the competition will be fierce on stage.
The competitors for the inaugural 2014 Arnold Classic 212 event will be none other than top competitors and fan faves such as Flex, Tricky and Hide.
