Andrew Garfield has officially been named the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming reboot of the franchise. Garfield is most famous for his outstanding performance in Boy A. He then went had parts in Lions for Lambs, The Other Boleyn Girl, and The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. The new Spider-Man film is scheduled to be released in 2012.
In trailer news, a new Piranha 3D trailer was released and has everyone hoping that this will be B-movie greatness. A new Harry Potter trailer has been released and it feels like it is giving away too much of the story, which trailers have a major problem of doing. A indy horror film called Chain Letter also released its trailer and it is worth taking a look at.
The biggest trailer to come out lately is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It's the new film from Edgar Wright, the genius behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
Some others to look at are Gore Verbinski's animated film Rango (starring Johnny Depp) and a remake of the greatest vampire movie ever Let the Right One In. The American version is called Let Me In and is directed by Cloverfield's Matt Reeves.
