This is the first day and the first article from the Space Coast Aerospace Examiner. Future articles will include news about local Aerospace and NASA area launches including dates and times of launches. The Author is located near the Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Titusville and Melbourne Florida. Not far away is Daytona Beach which has the number one Aerospace University in the world Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). Daytona or Daytona Beach as it’s called today has an International Airport and local flights like Delta take off every day to several destinations

At Titusville there is the Space Coast Regional Airport which will soon be Florida's first Spaceport when it gets its certification. The city of Titusville is building a facility for Rocket Crafter Inc. who moved from California plan on building a space plane and solid rocket engines.

In Melbourne there are several Aerospace Companies such as Grumman, Boeing and Lockheed-Martin. Grumman is rumored to be building B-2's soon in Melbourne. Melbourne also has a local International Airport and boast having another good University, Florida Institute of Technology or FIT.

Other areas of reporting for fun will include UFO sightings from MUFON reports and unusual objects in the sky like the Goodyear Blimp the Author saw fly over today headed northwest toward Daytona Beach were it often resides during the Daytona 500 and other races at the Daytona Speedway.

The Bahamas are only 50 miles away across the water and several flights fly to Nassau and other Caribbean. Port Canaveral is only across the bridge between Titusville and Cocoa with destinations to the Bahamas and other destinations around the world.
