With the excitement already insurmountable for The Beatles: Rock Band, today brought even more reason to get psyched up for the game’s 9-9-09 launch. Why? How about the announcement of fifteen more confirmed songs (and their venues), and the promise that Abbey Road (the band’s last album, often considered their best) will be available on the day of release.

In addition, more details have been discussed regarding the three-part harmony mechanic. The game will feature a vocal trainer to aid in turning average singers into admirable impersonators. Of course the bundle version features the trademark instruments: a Höfner bass, Rickenbacker and Gretsch guitars, and Ludwig drums.

Rollingstone.com reports that McCartney has been more involved than some may have thought, even doing some fact checking to make the product as perfect as possible. The confirmed songs and venues (courtesy of Rollingstone.com) can be viewed below.

“Twist And Shout” / Cavern Club

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (often cited as the greatest album of all time) finally announced (they were missing from the game's debut trailer).
