Disney has released the 20-second spot that will run on Sunday's Super Bowl pregame show. The clip released Jan. 29 shows "The Lone Ranger" stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the masked man.

The film is directed by Gore Verbinski who also directed three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films and "Rango" all starring Johnny Debb. Tim Burton also uses Debb for many films, most of them hits. Now it looks like Disney will have a hit on their hands with "The Long Ranger."

Armie Hamer is no slouch himself. Not only has he worked his way up from a small role in 2006, he played the Winklevoss twins in the 2010 film "Social Network." He is the great-grandson of industrialist, art collector, and philanthropist Armand Hammer.

This commercial joins many that are remembered for their drama, in the case of films and humor in most other cases.

The commercials that run during the Super Bowl are often simple bonus' for hardcore football fans. Other people watch just for the commercials and, of course, the half-time show, which is always stellar.

There is a long tradition of clever, funny and expensive TV commercials that run during the biggest football game of the year.

Many run once, never to be seen again. Some run during the game and are seen a few times after. A very few get an extended run and even some sequels.

The best known of these long lasting commercials are the ads for an investment company. It's the ad with the adorable talking, intelligent baby. Giving advice to adults is his specialty. However, he also helps has friends other baby friends. One is a baby who doesn't have an indoor voice on a plane and watching another baby speed dating in a hospital nursery.

The first commercial, from the 2008 Super Bowl, showed the baby talking about how much money he had earned from his financial account. He used his windfall to rent a clown. It is only after he has the clown in his bedroom that he quips, "I totally underestimated the creepiness of a clown."
