New 'Skyrim' trademark reveals possible Redguard expansion pack (Photos)

From the looks of it, Bethesda is in the process of developing a new expansion pack for “Skryim,” which is shown above. In the same tradition that previous expansion packs for “Skyrim” was uncovered prior to an official announcement, a trademark by Zenimax leads us to believe that the next expansion pack for “Skyrim” will be based around the Redguards.

As discovered yesterday by the Official Xbox Magazine, this trademark is based around the term “Redguards” and explains itself as a “downloadable computer games software offered via the Internet and wireless devices.” Outside the possibility of this being a additional expansion pack for “Skyrim,” OXM also ponders on the possibility of this being a completely new “Elder Scrolls” title.

With the expected arrival of Sony and Microsoft's next generation consoles this year, this would provide Bethesda a prime opportunity to develop a next-generation “Elder Scrolls” title. Otherwise, if this is in fact a new expansion pack for “Skyrim,” we expect that Bethesda will be making an official announcement regarding this content in the coming months.
