For PlayStation 3 gamers, it has been a long, painful and frustrating experience of having to wait for all of the "Skyrim" DLCs that are on the Xbox 360 to hit the PS3, but now the wait will soon be over.
According to a report from PlayStation.Blog on Friday, Global Community Lead Bethesda Softworks Matt Grandstaff said all of the "Skyrim" DLCs will be live for PS3 gamers next month and that during the first week of its release, players will be able to purchase them at a 50% discounted rate.
"Today we’re excited to announce that, next month, we’ll be releasing all of 'Skyrim’s' add-on content on PlayStation Store.
"The 1.8 title update will also release just prior to the launch of 'Dragonborn.'
"We’ll keep you posted as release dates get finalized both on our end and with Sony for each and its various languages. Last but not least, each add-on will be 50% off during its launch week on PSN," Grandstaff said.
The three DLCs that will be coming to the PlayStation 3 will be add-ons such as: "Dragonborn," "Hearhfire" and "Dawnguard."
It's about time for Bethesda to make this happen and it was a nice move of their part to offer a discount on the DLCs. Fans should be pleased with that offering, but it'll be interesting to see what the ultimate reaction is from people.
