Executive Chef Gianfranco Minuz’s seasonal menu will highlight all natural, free range Guinea Hen from the San Joaquin Valley’s Grimaud Farms, alongside fresh ingredients from Coleman Family Farm, Weiser Family Farms, J.J.’s Lone Daughter Ranch, and Maggie’s Farm, among others.
The menu will feature:
- Antipasto: Guinea Hen Thigh Confit with red cabbage salad & mustard seed sauce
- Primo: Classic Bread Soup with hen offals, parmesan, and broth
- Piatto di Mezzo: Sautéed Guinea Hen Leg, Wing, and Liver with creamy risotto and blackberry
- Secondo: Roasted Guinea Hen Breast with wild mushrooms and bulgur wheat
- Dolce: Hazelnut Parfait
Guests may also enjoy unlimited carafes of red and white table wine (additional $18 per person), or opt for a pairing menu curated by Locanda del Lago’s wine director (additional $30+ per person). The restaurant offers over 400 labels on its wine list, with a strong focus on both Italian and Californian producers.
