AMC tried to help fans get through the winter break with a marathon of “The Walking Dead.” The fans who watched were treated to a series on few promotional clips that gave them a sneak peek at what’s coming in the second half of season 4, according to an International Business Times, Jan.2 report.
In the first clip, Glenn Rhee is scene waking up. As the camera pans pack, he is lying on the edge of pit. In the pit are dozens of agitated zombies. In the original promo, Glenn was seen holding up a light in the darkness. People were also seen leaping out of the bus, though we’re not sure why. Maybe that is how Glenn, who was sick at the time of the exodus, ends up with the gun.
In the next sneak peek aired, Carl is seen hesitating at a door. As it opens, a zombie is seen on the other side. This could be a clip from the upcoming episode 9 which is supposed to focus on Carl.
In the third clip, Daryl Dixon and Beth Greene, who were last seen fleeing the burning prison, are seen running through a tall field of grass. At the end of the clip, they appear to go to ground. As the camera pans back, though, we see them lying on their backs, not moving. It could be they were running from someone or something and are lying still in an effort to hide.
These snippets though short are enticing and will help keep us excited for the Feb. 9 return of “The Walking Dead.” Until then, keep checking back for more updates, previews and spoilers as they become available.
