Even if you're not a sports fan, now there's a great reason to watch the Super Bowl on Feb. 2. There will be new trailers to some block-buster sci-fi movies during the game. Even though things are still on lockdown and info is tight, we know the following will make the cut: "Captain America: Winter Soldier," "Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction".
Still unknown is whether these flicks will be represented in the lineup: "Robocop," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." Some may pass on the Super Bowl because of the exorbitant expense, but who knows, maybe they'll surprise us? We can only hope.
Disney has sadly confirmed that a "Guardians of the Galaxy" trailer will not be shown during the Super Bowl. It is also sure we won't be seeing "Godzilla," "Edge of Tomorrow," or "Jupiter Ascending" as Warner Bros has opted to sit it out this year.
So we know we'll see at least three new sci-fi trailers among all the Super Bowl commercials, and we'll have to tune in to see what else appears.
