In the early 2000's, it seemed that every celebrity developed a clothing line. But now, the fragrance game is the new way for celebrities reach out to their fans. This trend is even more prevalent with urban celebs - Beyonce brought us Heat, Usher gave us VIP and UR, and Halle Berry presented Halle and Pure Orchid. Now, Rihanna has entered the fragrance game with her new scent Reb'l Fleur, meaning 'Rebel Flower'.

According to the press relaease, the new scent, loosley named after her newest tattoo, is "Daring, sexy and truly memorable, Reb’l Fleur is as much in tune with Barbados-born Rihanna’s roots as it is with the glamour of her present life in New York City." The scent will be available for purchase during February 2011. Reb'l Fleur debuted at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (France) to a mixed reaction. Many perfume professionals were not 'blown away' by the bottle design, which resembles an inverted stiletto heel wrapped with satin ribbon and topped with a gold ring. However, many who've had a chance to smell the fragrance, made of tuberose, violet, hibiscus, and coconut water (source), say it's reminiscent of Rihanna's island roots.

The price point for Reb'l Fleur has not been released.
