A few days before its release, Deep Silver shares some new screens for their upcoming hack-and-slash adventure, “Sacred 3.”

With the release of “Sacred 3” less than a week away, the game’s publisher, Deep Silver revealed new launch screens that shows the “best played with friends” adventure in a variety of locations including the inside and outside of a temple-like structure, as well the top of an icy mountain.

Featuring classic drop-in, drop-out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (two players) and online (four players), “Sacred 3” will feature five different classes of characters and upgradable weapons. The game will also have online leaderboards and mission stat tracking.

“Sacred 3” will also include the new Malakhim class and the Underworld Story DLC, available at launch. According to Deep Silver, the DLC will have gamers face off against a familiar face from “Sacred 2.”

One of the most underrated hack-and-slack experiences in gaming today, the “Sacred” series traces its origins to 2004. The second game in series, “Sacred 2: Fallen Angel” was released in 2009 and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide on the Xbox 360, according to video games sales tracker VGChartz.
