New 'RHONY' star Kristen Taekman reveals the advice Brandi Glanville gave her

New "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Kristen Taekman is good friends with Brandi Glanville, a veteran of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." So it's not surprising that Kristen received some advice from Brandi before her "Real Housewives" experience. In an interview with OK! Magazine, Kristen revealed what Brandi told her.

Brandi gave her practical advice on how to manage things as a mother and new reality TV star.

"The only real advice that she could really give, I think you know 'Beverly Hills' is so different to 'New York' so, her only real advice was, um, you know just sort of how to manage filming in general. Like the schedule with the kids and, um, stuff like that. That was kind of it. I'm not really big on advice. I don't know if that's good or bad. We'll see," she said.

In an interview with OK! Magazine in February, Brandi said that she and Kristen are very similar in some ways, especially when it comes to their lack of filter.

"We're very similar in some ways. We just kind of say things and we're like, 'Oh shoot, did we just say that?'" Brandi said of Kristen, who got the attention of Andy Cohen went she went to a Bravo event with Brandi last year.
