"Live From Zion"~Phillip Carter & SOV. The sixth recording from the group pulls out all the stops and features many of the most prominent names from the DMV and beyond. Carlton Burgess, Mike McCoy, Ana Kitty Larrieux Gibson, Danny McCrimmon, Arleen Crawford, Darnell Moore and Matt Kelly all lend their impressive pens as songrwiters. There is also a smorgasboard of talented vocalists, including Michael White, Elise Nicole McCain, Tynette Pierre, Ana Gibson, Ronnette Harrison and more.
"God City, USA"~Canton Jones. Another strong project from Jones with Gospel, R&B and Hip Hop naturally woven together. The album features Isaac Carree, Darlene McCoy, Uncle Reece and more. Jones has already released one video from the album with three more in the works. The impressive album cover by Annette Groves is a great attention grabber for an album packed with the solid music Canton Jones' fans have come to expect.
"Daily Confessions"~Bethany Devine. Produced by Asaph Ward, the album is a joyous album that will immediately grab listeners, inviting them to join in the praise fest. The Arkanas native has a DMV connection; her brother is gospel jazz saxophonist Merlon Devine. The 12-track album includes the title track, "Get Up," "Release," "You can," "Direction" and more.
"Destiny! Live at the Dream Center & More"~Kevin Levar. The artist from the DMV captured the nation with "A Heart That Forgives," Levar delivers an album filled with songs of faith, hope and love that span a wide range of musical styles that include praise and worship, contemporary, old school R&B, light rock, big band, blues and country music.
