The last week in January is headlined by a quartet of films a good. Three of the four releases that headline this week’s films are former big screen hits that are hitting the shelves. Seven Psychopaths (Colin Farrell, Woody Harelson, and Sam Rockwell), Hotel Transylvania (Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Selena Gomez), and Paranormal Activity 4 (Kathryn Newton, Katie Featherston, and Alexondra Lee).
This week’s Spotlight release:
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns pt. 2 (Peter Weller, David Selby, and Michael Emmerson) The conclusion to the animated feature that was released at the end of 2012. The Dark Knight Returns brings one of the most celebrated comic books of all time to life. This tells the story of aging Bruce Wayne donning the cape and cowl once career 10 years after his initial retirement. It’s a dynamic, action packed must see for all fans.
There are a few direct to video choices that will make this week a great one for buyers. Home video lovers should really give them a chance and dig just a little deeper into their pockets to check them out. Here are some of the best that this week has to offer:

You can currently order any of the titles above for pre-order from Amazon. They will be for sale on this Tuesday at all home video retailers but for movie enthusiasts in Baltimore, I recommend making a pit stop at my favorite local vendor in Baltimore for DVD and Blu-ray releases, The Sound Garden in Fells Point.
