The women of the "Real Housewives" may soon no longer be the dominant group of women willing to reveal all about their lives for TV. In an interview with In Touch Weekly, posted on Thursday, March 13, the women of TNT’s "Private Lives of Nashville Wives," which airs Mondays at 11/10c, compared themselves to the women of the "Real Housewives."
The Nashville wives believe that they're more grounded than the spoiled housewives.
“We don’t sit around talking about the $15,000 goody bags we’ll get for our kids’ birthday parties. We’re humble and hard-working," said business owner Ana Fernandez.
That doesn't stop the comparisons however. In fact, people have told two of the Nashville wives that they remind them of two of the women from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
One has been compared to Kim Zolciak.
“People will compare us, but I think it’s comical. I didn’t decide to do a TV show and then become an artist. Music is my life," said singer-songwriter Sarah Davidson.
Another gets compared to NeNe Leakes thanks to her no-nonsense attitude.
“I don’t have tolerance for nonsense. I think I’m even more direct than NeNe!” Jenny Terrell, VP of sales for an Internet company, is quoted as saying to In Touch Weekly.
Jenny, however, told @celebgossipstat that she never said she was more direct than NeNe.
NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are arguably the two biggest personalities to come out of not only "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" but all of the "Real Housewives" shows, so if two of the stars of "Private Lives of Nashville Wives" are so much like them that they draw comparisons, the show may very well be even bigger than "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" soon!
