New PS4 details coming at the end of March (Photos)

PS4 has received a number of details and features already, but Sony has said they still have plenty to show people and it looks like that will happen at the Game Developers Conference 2013.

According to a report from GamingHulks on Sunday, Sony will be hosting a PS4 talk at the upcoming Game Developers' Conference, which will be called "Overview of PS4 for Developers."

The event "will discuss the technology from a development standpoint as well as from the design side."

New details are highly likely to be given at this event, as the conference will take place from March 25th-29th in San Francisco.

Recently, Sony Worldwide studios senior vice president Michael Denny talked about how people will be surprised with how little of a leap in development costs come with the PS4.

"I think what we’re seeing anyway in the industry is a polarisation between the triple-A games at the top end, which are getting more and more budget going in to them and even on current-gen have a lot of resource and effort going in to them.

"I think you’ll be surprised that with next-generation PlayStation 4 it’s not that much of a leap up, because these games on current-gen are already pushing things to the max in terms of resources you’re putting in to them," Denny said.

Denny then talked about how there will be room for a diverse world of content with the PlayStation 4 and that will vary the cost of development.

"It’s not one size fits all; it depends on the content, it depends on the market you’re going for, the genre.

"But I think it’s important that there’s always a place for those big, triple-A experiences," Denny said.
