Killzone 2
Sony
Several new PS3 'Greatest Hit' titles have been revealed via a Walmart flyer. The biggest among the new batch of 'Greatest Hit' titles is Killzone 2, inFamous, and LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition. Once reaching 'Greatest Hit' status, these titles will retail for the new retail price of $30. If you haven't purchased these titles yet, then wait for the new price-drop to occur in the relative future. If you don't want the red banner across the top of the box, then best hope you can find a non-'Greatest Hit' edition and purchase it for the same low-price. These titles will be dropped in price on Friday, according to the flyer.
New Greatest Hits:
Killzone 2
Resistance 2
inFAMOUS
LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition
UFC Undisputed

nice
I have a question. Will the greatest hit version of killzone 2 include the control patch that we got early 2009 slightly after killzone 2 release???
I'd say so Question.
I bet KZ2 has a big sales increase with a drop in price.
The control patch might not be included in the retail game, but it is a simple matter of connecting to PSN and it will update the game to the latest version.
Cheers
need to pick up killzone 2 again, loved those intense game modes
UFC is already in the wal-mart, as the "Greatest Hits" version with the red banner across the top
finally some greatest hits, resistance 2's been out for ever and they havnt done greatest hits in forever.
SUCK MY DICK AND LICK ON MY BALLS!!!
nothing will get a sales increase cos no one wants that red banner on their games, exept cheapies, who only buy greatest hits,
one thing is right in the article, this week, they will sell alot, increased by 50 percent id say, before the re-prints come in with the banner,....im getting infamous NOW!!!!!
I'm wondering if LittleBigPlanet will get a Playstation Move patch or a whole new release? Might pick up InFamous now.
damn too bad i already paid $60 for every single one of these games i hope uncharted 2 is coming soon
I want God of WAR III: GOTY edition with all DLCs, new bosses, extended storyline and of course full 1080p HD.
the game itself does not change just the boxart/price, this goes for all greatest hits in the Sony's past.
Why on earth does it matter if the box has a red strip at the top? Do you play the box, or the game? Is it worth 30 extra dollars to have one without it? I just don't understand that viewpoint. They could make all the boxes purple with yellow ponies on it, and if it was cheaper, I would buy it in a heartbeat. It's the game I want, not the packaging.
The red banner does, for some reason, make me want to NOT buy Resistance 2... I suppose I will have to find the original box art and take advantage of the price drop. Cheers!
