Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the return of Kate Beckinsale to the big screen. On Saturday, Coming Soon shared the latest poster for her next film Underworld Awakening. Check out the new poster here.
In this fourth installment in the Underworld film series, Kate Beckinsale is returning after not being seen in the third film, and things will be different this time around. While in the first three films vampires were at war with the lycans, the next film will have them fighting against a different enemy - humans. Humankind now knows vampires and wolves exist, and they want them gone.
Is Underworld taking a page out of True Blood's book? On that series, vampires are known to exist among humans, and they co-exist somewhat peacefully. However, the time following vampire discovery must have had similar battles. Those battles still happen on the series as well.
In Underworld Awakening, Selene, played by Kate Beckinsale, will escape her imprisonment to find a war between humans and the two immortal species taking place.
