In conjunction with the premiere acclaimed artist Jay Shaw has created a new one sheet for it’s release. Wheatley has been high on my list since seeing Kill List and Sightseers was pretty epic as well. I do have the film in my possession so look for a review later this week. For now enjoy the cool new one sheet and some brand new images courtesy of Drafthouse Films.

During the Civil War in 17th-Century England, a small group of deserters flee from a raging battle through an overgrown field. They are captured by an alchemist (Michael Smiley), who forces the group to aid him in his search to find a hidden treasure that he believes is buried in the field. Crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their first meal, the group quickly descends into a chaos of arguments, fighting and paranoia, and, as it becomes clear that the treasure might be something other than gold, they slowly become victim to the terrifying energies trapped inside the field. A Field In England is a psychedelic trip into magic and madness from Ben Wheatley, the award-winning director of Down Terrace, Kill List and Sightseers.

To find out if A Field In England is playing in a theater near you check out their full release schedule here: Looks like the closest place it is showing to us is in Kansas City, Missouri. The film is currently available to watch on Itunes and should get the full vod output on February 7th. The artwork of Jay Shaw does a great job of capitalizing on the psychedelic aura surrounding A Field In England and adds to the already impressive images that accompany the film.
