The Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre presents “Housebreaking”, Jan. 10 to Jan. 27 at their theater located at 3614 Main. The play by Jakob Holder asks the question, “How did we get to where we are” and looks at what happens when we try to change. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. with matinees at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Kansas City Boat and Sports Show runs through Sunday at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City. The show has exhibitors with boats for every activity and distributors of outdoor gear. The Willow Creek Trout Farm provides free fishing for kids attending the show. The show is open noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The KC Weddings Bridal Spectacular will be held on Saturday Jan. 12 at the Overland Park Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show will include over $10,000 in prize giveaways and is presented by Celebrity China & Crystal and Dillard’s.
