Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the release of "The Place Beyond The Pines" to theaters. On Tuesday, March 19, MTV Movies Blog shared the latest photos released from the film. Check out the photos by visiting the slide show. If you missed any of the previously released photos or spoilers from this film, go here.
This film stars Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper. They are both featured in the new photos, and one of the photos shows a moment from the opening scene of the film. Ryan Gosling's will ride his motorcycle through a busy fair, and he will end up in a ball of death with two other motorcycles. The man behind the film, Derek Cianfrance, spoke about filming the sequence in a new interview with MTV News released on Monday. He said the following:
"We were shooting in an active fair. We had to put our circus tent and the trailer exactly five minutes and 30 seconds in walking distance away from each other," he said. "That was the time we had slotted for our title sequence. We timed everything out, and we did this take."
The scene was not easy to shoot. The director had to find ways to distract fans of Ryan Gosling, so he could film the shot. Fans are buzzing about the release of this film and its stars on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
The buzz begins #ThePlaceBeyondThePines Collaborative, improvisational, noir-ish pseudo cinéma vérité shot in a true-life pit of corruption.
Scottsdale residents will be able to see this film at the Harkins Scottsdale Fashion Square 7 or at another local theater in the area once it is released.
