New performers announced for the “CMT Music Awards”

There is a new list of performers ready to hit the stage for the 2014 “CMT Music Awards.” CMT announced on May 22, 2014 that Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, David Nail, Danielle Bradbery, Dan + Shay, Cole Swindell and Thomas Rhett have been added to the list of artists set to perform during the award show.

The new names join the previously announced list of artists set to perform during the 2014 “CMT Music Awards” including Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church and Miranda Lambert. Lambert and Underwood will be teaming up on stage once again to perform "Something Bad" from Lambert’s soon to be released album titled “Platinum.”

Lambert is heading into the 2014 “CMT Music Awards” earning the most nominations for the night. Lambert is in the running for six categories including two nominations for “Video of the Year” with her hit "Automatic" and as "We Were Us" with Keith Urban.
Florida Georgia Line and Bryan are in the running with five nominations and Taylor Swift and Urban both earned four nominations.

Shelton and Hunter Hayes heard their names called as nominees in three categories and Underwood and Church both received two nominations for the 2014 “CMT Music Awards.” Get your votes in now for your favorites so they can take the stage and accept an award during the big night.

Kristen Bell will make her return to host the “2014 CMT Music Awards” for the third time. This time around Bell will be handling the hosting duties alone. Bell was the co-host in 2013 with Jason Aldean and made her hosting debut alongside Toby Keith in 2012.

Bell said. "I love that the country community has welcomed me so warmly, and I can't wait to head back to Nashville for what's sure to be another amazing show this year." You can see the “2014 CMT Music Awards” on June 4, 2014 at 8 p.m. EST from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on CMT.
