New patent by Bethesda points to the creation of a 'Fallout' television series

From the looks of it, very interesting actions seems to be forming around Bethesda's “Fallout” franchise. Today we discovered that Bethesda filed a new patent that appears to be based around a television show that will be set in the “Fallout” universe.

As described through the official patent on the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Bethesda has filed a patent for “Fallout” that identifies itself as “entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world.”

Although gamers have been desperately awaiting the next installment to the “Fallout” video game franchise, it looks like Bethesda has decided to surprise fans with the development of a television series based around the story delivered in this franchise.

Nevertheless, this does not completely confirm that a “Fallout” television show is in development. But, this does seem to be what this information is pointing toward.

What do you think about the idea of basing a television series around the “Fallout” franchise?
