New Orleans to celebrate the Super Bowl win with a parade Tuesday night

New Orleans will celebrate winning the 2010 Super Bowl on Tuesday night with a parade. The winning New Orleans Saints NFL players will be in attendance. Many of the Mardi Gra floats will be used in the parade and 12 marching bands will lead the parade through the city. The Saints NFL players will be carried through the city on floats.

The New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts Sunday night 31-17. The parade is scheduled to begin tonight at 6 pm EST and will begin at the Louisiana Superdome.

Monday, the Saints NFL players were greeted by a massive crowd of black and gold fans at the airport when they arrived back from Miami. This was the first time the New Orleans Saints played in the Super Bowl.

The city of New Orleans is happy that the Saints won the Super Bowl, but as Dave Letterman said Monday night…they would have a party for the players whether they won or lost.  To see the Drew Brees interview on Dave Letterman from Monday night, click here
